Terms & Conditions


  • A group is defined as five (5) or more students
  • Kicky Tours does not accept students under the age of 14 years.  All students under the age of 15 years must be placed in shared homestay accommodation.
  • At least one (1) responsible adult must accompany all groups.
  • All activities listed in the itinerary will be delivered but Kicky Tours reserves the right to change the order in which activities are delivered to suit the timetable and availability.  It may be necessary to substitute activities should the weather be inclement.  This will be discussed with the group leader.


  • Students agree to abide by the host family’s rules and guidelines.  Should a host family request a student be moved, the student will need to pay the new family the extra accommodation fee.
  • Kicky Tours will do its best to match students to families.  If there is a problem, Kicky Tours staff will help the student and chaperone to resolve the issue.  Should they be unable the student will be placed with another host family.
  • If a host family requests that the student move host family due to behavioural problems (eg not following host family rules) then the student will also need pay the host family transfer fee.
  • Should a student request to be moved more than once, then a $190 re-placement fee may apply.  This fee will be applied at the Directors discretion.
  • If a host family refuses to host a student due to behavioural problems then Kicky Tours reserves the right not to find them a new family.  The group leader will then be responsible for looking after the student in a hotel.  The cost of which is the students responsibility.

Bookings and Payments

  • All tours must be booked at least two (2) months prior to arrival in Perth, and be accompanied by a participant list and homestay information. 
  • Payment must be received must be made for the tour at least one (1) month prior to arrival in Perth.
  • No Homestay lists will be released until full payment has been received.
  • Kicky Tours does not accept individual payments for group bookings, or payment by credit card.


  • All notices of cancellation must be made in writing and are not effective until received by Kicky Tours.
  • All cancellations should be received no less than one month prior to the proposed commencement of the Tour.
  • A cancellation fee of not less than $100 per student will be charged for cancellations received less than one month prior to the arrival date in Perth.
  • No refund will be granted after the Study Tour has commenced. No refund will be granted if a student is requested to leave due to a breach of Kicky Tours standards
  • Refunds due to participant illness are at the discretion of the Director of Kicky Tours. All applications must be made in writing.


  • It is recommended that all participants of Group Tour programmes have their own comprehensive travel insurance policy in case of illness or loss.  Losses are not covered by the Kicky Tours and remain the responsibility of the individual.
